Being avid golfers, we’ve visited a multitude of golf courses and country clubs in our travels. However, a country club that we visited in the northeast stood out dramatically from all of our previous excursions. They were using waste bins rooted in the ground, the lid being the only visible part of the entire container. Now this was something we’d never seen before! We immediately wondered why this practice wasn’t more widespread – these almost-invisible trash cans completely solved the various visual and smell issues associated with public waste disposal and allowed us to fully enjoy the green of a beautiful country club.
After we saw this climate-friendly idea in action we wondered, “What could possibly make garbage bins even more unique?”
